How it works
How the process works
1. Submit your enrolment application
First, complete the application form form for the relevant school:
2. Initial meeting
SSA will contact you to setup an initial meeting with the prospective student and their parents/guardians.
3. Meeting with the Principal
The student and parents/guardians meet with the School Principal.
4. Letter of offer
Successful applicants will be sent a formal Letter of Offer.
Student selection criteria
Enrolling for a place at a Studio School is not just about your intellect as we all have different starting points in life. Student applications are assessed on the following criteria:
- Academic potential and achievements to date
- Other significant achievements to date, of any type
- Willingness to engage in education with a commitment to completing Year 12
- Parental/guardian support and commitment
- Enthusiasm about attending school
- School attendance and past student behaviour
- A desire to eventually give back to your community and Australia
All criteria are assessed in the context of the student’s school and family life in a holistic way and no single criterion is determinative in the selection process.
